MARGAO: Some 45 residents from Drampaur-Sirlim Tuesday cornered Executive Engineer Santosh Lolienkar for failing to supply power to their village for the last few days.
The aggrieved residents were lead by Panchas Bernard Rebello and Dominic Noronha.
In a memorandum submitted to the engineer, the residents complained that their houses have not been supplied with power for the last few days. The memorandum has been signed by 45 villagers.
On receiving the memorandum, Lolienkar assured that he would be inspecting the area along with his subordinates, on Wednesday morning, to find solution to their power woes.
Meanwhile, the villagers have also forwarded a letter to the local MLA and the panchayat explaining their plight due to lack of power supply.
