The Assistant Executive Engineers Association of the Electricity Department has extended its wishes to Power Minister Aleixo Sequeira on his birthday on Saturday.
Saying that they were proud to be associated with the power minister, the Association recalled his achievements in the power sector.
The Association said the Minister has brought about discipline in the staff and at the same time helped in improving the working condition of the staff. “The line staffs are insured for Rs 2 lakh in case of accidents, providing quality tool, kits, safety shoes and rain wears,” the Association said in a press release. The press note also listed various other works taken by the minister.
