Pramod Timblo passes away

MARGAO: Prominent mine owner Pramod Pandurang Timblo died on Sunday in Mumbai where he was undergoing treatment for an illness for about a month.

MARGAO: Prominent mine owner Pramod Pandurang Timblo died on Sunday in Mumbai where he was undergoing treatment for an illness for about a month. 
Pramod was married to Rekha and had five children: Chandan Bandekar, Ashwini Gupta who is settled in USA, Sarvesh Timblo and Mahendra Timblo and Pallavi Srinivas Dempo.
Originally hailing from Assolna, the Timblo family shifted to Margao during the reign of the Portuguese. His mortal remains will leave his residence at Aquem on Monday at 10:30 am for the last rites to be conducted at Pajifond crematorium.
