In the appointment order, GPCC Chief Luizinho Faleiro has requested Pratima to coordinate the activities of the Mahila congress in the state and initiate immediate steps to strengthen the organisation.
After receiving the appointment letter, Pratima told the media that she would do justice to the job entrusted to her by the PCC Chief. “I am grateful to Faleiro for appointing me on the post. I am happy that he has kept his word to strike a balance between the old and the new blood,” she said.
Pratima took a dig at Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani for shedding crocodile tears when she had come to Goa during the Vasco rape case.
“Irani and the BJP mahilas from Goa had only shed crocodile tears for the rape victim. We have not heard anything form these BJP Mahilas to the rapes, molestations, robberies and burglaries in the state in the last three years”, Pratima said.
