VASCO: In name of pre-monsoon works, the Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) as well as all seven panchayats under Mormugao Taluka literally fooled the citizens and that is why during the first spell of pre-monsoon showers on Wednesday, several parts of taluka started witnessing flood like situation, with water logging hampering vehicular traffic.
As per information received, severe water logging was witnessed at Sasmollem after the main nallah in the area started overflowing, leaving the residents to face hardships.
