PANJIM: President Pranab Mukherjee will preside over the 29th Convocation ceremony of Goa University (GU) on Tuesday evening at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stadium. GU will confer Mukherjee with an honorary doctorate during the ceremony.
Mukherjee will be visiting Goa for the first time since assuming office as President of India. During his day-long visit, Mukherjee will stay at Raj Bhavan in Dona Paula
