PONDA: Around 200 peons of government aided primary schools demanded for implementation of Seventh Pay Commission for them. They have submitted their memorandum to Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and Education Department requesting them to fulfil their demand so that their financial condition is improved.

According to these employees, government is implementing Seventh Pay Commission for all government offices. Secondary school peons are also paid at Seventh Pay Commission scale and government aided primary school teachers are also its beneficiaries, so why they are denied and why only injustice on them questioned the employees.

These peons fall in D group employee category and want government include them in C category so that their salary is increased.

According to them most of peons working in government aided primary schools are from ST, SC, and OBC Bahujans category. They are economically backward and that government should implement them the seventh pay scale for their upliftment of their family and childrens.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant always in speeches claims that the present government is government of Bahujans and working for their welfare and so these employees hope that he would consider their demand to implement Seventh Pay Commission for their salaries at the earliest.
