PANJIM: The Porvorim police have registered an offence against the principal of a centrally run high school for assaulting a minor student.
A complaint was received by the Porvorim police on Wednesday alleging that the principal of Kendriya Vidyalay, INS Mandovi, situated at Verem, assaulted a 14-year-old student from his institution. The victim’s father has complained that his son has suffered grievous injury to his ear.
According to the complainant, the medical report of the child states that there is an ear drum tear due to the assault. The police have registered a case against Principal Ravi Pratap Singh and are investigating investigations.
