PERNEM: Seventy-four ex-students of Yashwantrao Chavan Open University gheraoed Kamleshwar Higher Secondary School, Korgao Principal demanding the graduation certificate of academic year 2013 which has not been issued till date.
The 74 ex-students had completed graduation in B Com and BA in the year 2013 from Kamleshwar HSS, but even after four years they have not received degree certificates.
Failing to receive any response from the university and Kamleshwar Higher Secondary School, the students gheraoed the Kamleshwar HSS Principal and demanded their mark sheets and degree certificates.
The students said that they had written several letters to the councilor of the University to issue their certificates but did not receive any response. The principal has earlier assured them, but nothing was done for four years.
