Print making camp concludes

PANJIM: Minister for Art and Culture Dayanand Mandrekar, was the chief guest for the valedictory function of national printmaking (etching) camp organized by Directorate of Art and Culture at the Graphic Studio, Sanskruti Bhavan, Panjim.
Mandrekar appreciated  the artists for their creative works and for print making art for its meticulous interesting techniques.
On behalf of participant artists, Siddharth Ghosh and Viraj Naik expressed their views and appreciated the initiative taken up by the State Government to promote artists in the State and across country. They admired the state-of-the-art print making studio established by the department for the development of the print making art.
P D Dhumal (Baroda), R M Palaniappan (Chennai), Siddharth Ghosh, (West Bengal), Gauri Vemula (Hyderabad), Soghra Khurasani  (Baroda), Prof Hanumant Kambli, Querozittode Souza, Viraj Naik, Rajendra Usapkar, Siddharth Gosavi, Vijay Bhandhari, Vitesh Naik and Sripad Gurav, Rajesh Salgaonkar & Ryan Abreu (Goa) participated.  Participants were presented mementoes and certificate. Earlier, Prasad Lolayekar, Director of Art and Culture welcomed. Ashok Parab, Dy Director of Art and Culture proposed the vote of thanks.  Siddhi Upadhye compered.
