MARGAO: Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco on Wednesday demanded that Goa Police probe the death of the teenager at Calangute Beach under the court’s supervision.
He alleged that the investigation in the case is totally directionless in nature as the Goa Police committed the gravest blunder by claiming it as unnatural death.
He claimed that within two hours when the body was found, the top policemen were trying to divert the matter and accused the cops of showing utter bias in the case.
The MLA said the cops declared her death due to drowning and a suicide case without even investigating the victim’s phone records, etc.
