MARGAO: A special programme via video conferencing for South Goa police officials to sensitize them on challenges faced while dealing with cases involving children was conducted by Advocate Siddhi Parodkar and Auda Viegas who is the administrator for One Stop Centre at Margao.
The police personnel were guided on how to deal with children who are victims of crimes and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act was also discussed at length. They were impressed on the need to protect and nurture children as they are the future of the country.
