MARGAO: Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, organised “Antarichya Swara Re Shridhara Re” a programme in memory of its founder vice-chairman late Shridhar Kamat on Thursday.
The programme was organised in collaboration with Konkani Bhasha Mandal and Dakshinayan Abhiyan.
The programme saw performance by leading music director from Mumbai Ashok Patki and Eric Osario, from Mangalore. Patki composed several songs of late Shridhar Kamat which have also won awards at State and National Level, while Osario also composed and sung Shridhar’s songs.
There was a cultural programme based on the songs written by late Shridhar Kamat.
which were be sung by Sidhanath Buyao, Sai Panandikar, Ketan Bhat, Tanvi Kamat Bambolkar, Sandesh Naik and Gautami Hede.
A dance performance by students of Manovikas School based on the song written by late Shridhar Kamat was also held.
Friends of late Shridhar Kamat, Dr Francisco Colaco, Datta Naik, Prabhakar Timble, Jose Lourenco, Prashant Naik & Ratnamala Divkar shared memories of late Shridhar Kamat at the programme.
