PANJIM: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Medical Cell has appealed to doctors and medical practitioners of Goa to promote generic medicines as it divulged number of schemes released by the Ministry of Family and Health Welfare.
Dr Shekhar Salkar, president, BJP Medical Cell while appealing to the medical practitioners and doctors to come forward and propagate the culture of generic medicines, it was also proposed that all doctors shall add the following foot note to the prescription that states, “Generic medicines equivalent to the quality and efficacy may be dispensed.”
