“On the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee as conveyed by the Goa Public Service Commission dated March 6, 2019 and accepted/approved by the Government of Goa …. They shall be on probation for a period of two years,” the notification states. Angle is at present serving as DySP Traffic (North) while Poduval is posted as SDPO Quepem.
In a separate order, the government has ordered that DySP South Prabodh Shirwaikar and Uday Naik shall hold the post of Junior Scale Officers of Goa Police Service ‘on Officiating Basis against the two ST vacancies till eligible ST Officers are found eligible by the Department, with immediate effect.’
“The (two) Officiating Officers shall not bestow any claim for regular appointment and the service rendered on officiating basis in the grade will not count for the purpose of seniority in that grade for eligibility for promotion to the next higher grade,” it said.
