CANACONA: JMFC Canacona released on bail four alleged accused persons of the same family who were arrested over a property dispute, recently.
They are Gongo Zore, Bhombo Zore, Deepak Zore and Sanjay Zore. The two sides of the same family turned against one another over an alleged property dispute.
A case was filed at Canacona Police Station against the accused persons under various Sections of IPC, recently.
As per police sources, the complainant’s relatives gathered, armed with “dandas” (sticks) and large stones. Further, they began provoking and threatening the complainant’s family, while abusing them in foul language.
The complainant also stated that she and her family were slapped, kicked and assaulted by the accused. Her father bore a grievous hand injury, while a brother was the victim of a rock hit on the head which led to severe bleeding.
The fight was allegedly over land where the relatives cultivate crops together in devasthan property. Further investigation is on under the guidance of LPSI Rifha Barretto.
