MARGAO: Fire Services on Tuesday pressed into service one tender to douse the fire that engulfed the kitchen of Peter Miranda’s house at Pockwado in Betalbatim. The fire broke out in the kitchen at around 1 in the afternoon.
While property worth Rs 1.5 lakh was damaged in the fire, the firemen succeeded in saving property worth Rs 5 lakh, according to officials of the fire services.
