CALANGUTE: The Calangute Police have arrested two accused pimps and three victim girls have been rescued in a major high-end prostitution racket busted on Thursday evening.
During the raid six mobile phones worth Rs. 1.20 lakh and cash of Rs. 20,000 was seized.
The two accused pimps in their mid-twenties are Santosh Kar, a native of Odisha and Manjunath Belganoor, a resident of Candolim.
The dummy customer was prepared for the raid and contact was established with the pimps. As soon as the deal was finalized the dummy customer was called at Maddowado, Calangute for delivery of the victim girls. Upon which the raiding team proceeded and waited at the spot in disguise.
