CANACONA: Determined to halt any type of activity at Kulti plateau, presently in the eye of storm over government’s intention to set up an industrial estate, Poinguinkarancho Ekvott (PE) will hold a peaceful protest march in front of the office of Goa Industrial Development Corporation at Patto on Wednesday morning.
According to a press note issued by PE President Caetano Barretto, in order to oppose ongoing land acquisition for proposed industrial estate at Kulti-Plateau in Poinguinim in Canacona taluka, a peaceful protest march starting in front of Goa Industrial Development Corporation at Patto will be held on December 11 at 11 am.
The protestors have decided to gather in front of the GIDC office and then march peacefully towards Azad Maidan for a ‘Dharna’.
