MARGAO: Curtorim Congress MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco on Sunday requested the Chief Minister and Health Minister to make sure that all the doctors and health workers at the hospitals and test centres are provided enough apparatus and guidance for their protection.

MLA Reginaldo said that the medical staff, KTC bus staff, police and staff at stadium are at risk of getting infected of the COVID-19.

He pleaded to the government before the situation goes out of hand to sanitise the premises and provide all the corona warriors masks, protective gear and all that is required.

“The staff which is filling forms and allowing the passengers inside have no training on how to complete the process and clear the entry. There is no sanitisation of the premises and no control over who is coming in and going out. I have personally checked the same,” said Reginaldo.

He requested the government to provide all the apparatus to all the staff which is on the frontline. “For the sake of protecting Goemkar, give them all that they need to be safe,” he said.

“I urge the Chief Minister to take the correction path and request the government not to take money for the tests,” said Curtorim MLA.
