Pune resident convicted for murder

MARGAO: The Additional District and Sessions Judge Margao Vincent D’Silva convicted  21-year-old Aman Gopal  Kavitya, a native of Pune,  residing in a rented room at Colva in connection with the murder of Baptista D’Costa.

According to the prosecution, the accused  was a rickshaw driver, while the victim Baptista was the owner of around 17 rent-a-bike motorcycles, two taxis, a van and car. 

Baptista had two staffers looking after his business. Police had  questioned the  employees, but later zeroed in on Aman.
