VALPOI: Public Works Department (PWD) official on Thursday inspected the Maloli village bridge along with the Sarpanch, Pranshant Marathe and asked Deputy Collector of Valpoi to grant permission to close the road to main road of Maloli village and divert the traffic till works get over.
The corner of the abutment wall of the culvert at Maloli had collapsed on Wednesday, following incessant rain for almost whole week. As a precautionary measure it is recommended to divert the traffic as per enclosed plan that is from Maloli internal road via Dhangarwada to main road.
