PANJIM: The Public Works Department (PWD) has banned the dumping of construction debris and garbage below the arms of Atal Setu ramps from Kadamba circle towards Merces junction.
The EE of Division–VII(NH) PWD, Panaji Goa has said that any person, vehicle found to violate this order will be prosecuted under the relevant provision of law applicable.
PWD said that the ban was necessitated after it was noticed that the construction debris and garbage is constantly dumped below the arms. It said that inspite of cleaning the area repeatedly dumping of garbage and construction debris has continued from the offenders.
