PONDA: The PWD officials along with the demolition squad on Tuesday cleared unauthorised structures encroaching on the National Highway (NH) stretch from Kadamba Bus Stand at Ponda to Curti Khandepar.
Assistant Engineer, Sub Division I, Works Division XV (NH), PWD Chanda Parwar on April 5 had written to the Deputy Collector and SDO, Ponda asking for police protection as well as demolition squad for removal of unauthorised occupation on NH 748 land from Kadamba Bus Stand to Usgao.
