PANJIM: Former PWD Minister Churchill Alemao will soon be issued summons to appear before the Crime Branch for questioning in the PWD tender scam which runs into crores of rupees.  Sources informed Herald that the team is almost ready with questions for Churchill though the date when he will be called to the Crime Branch office has not been disclosed to the media. On December 30, 2013, Crime Branch registered a first information report (FIR) against him and suspended executive engineer P T Parkar in the Rs 300 scam. The case was registered based on nearly two-year-old criminal complaint filed by former National Students Union of India (NSUI) Vice President Sunil Kawthankar alleging that the former PWD minister cheated the government of the whopping amount by illegally awarding 258 tenders.
