MARGAO: A day after Herald had reported about a water pipeline burst at Tollebandh in Benaulim and the negligence of the authorities by not attending to the situation for days, the PWD officials visited the site on Wednesday and began the repair work of the pipeline.
The rupture of the 4 mm pipe had also led to the low-pressure water supply to places that are receiving the water. The locals also pointed out that the water from the broken pipeline was spilling onto the road.
