MARGAO: In a bid to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and implement proper parking, especially during the holiday season, the Cavelossim Village Panchayat has stationed security personnel along the road leading to Mobor Beach.
Sarpanch Dixon Vaz said it will help the tourists visiting Cavelossim for the festive season have a good time.
He said Cavelossim is host to scores of tourists drawn by the many starred hotels and restaurants in the area. The panchayat has stationed five security guards from Hathi Mahal to Robin’s Ark, and has also opened a parking facility at Saga.
The traffic police face a tough time trying to control the movement of vehicles during the Christmas and New Year week, he added.
