Every Day Is An Appy Day

The app world across different mobile and desktop platforms
is vast which makes it tough to choose from. Taking into consideration the top
trending apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp Messenger and Instagram which are
truly easy and smooth to use but at the same time there are very few minds who
can really make out the mistakes in the apps. Working on UI and Design
analyzing, I could say that there is really something that can be changed in
WhatsApp Messenger that would make it more dependable and user friendly but,
not everyone will have the same thought. I have been using various types of
websites that have recently switched over to apps  and I could make a
valid note that using an app would not be the ultimate choice as there are
various advantages of using a website but there are some exceptions. Flipkart
for Android has just done a great job by putting the full detailed shopping
experience in the app and at the same time there is your very own Twitter that
has been constantly getting updated from time to time that makes tweeting even
more enjoyable.

When it comes to choosing between apps on various platforms,
people often think that it is just an app and what could be harmful if I
download it and just give it a try. I would say that every app needs
permissions to access certain areas of a device and some apps cause a threat as
the confidential information can be vulnerable. Pay close attention on what
type of app and rating of the publisher before downloading an app. The app
journey does not stop there as I have seen numerous device users who just have
three types of communication apps on their phone but use none and some use all.
I can classify this type of a download gesture as not beneficial as you are
just consuming the storage of your device unnecessarily and at the same time
getting too much involved with your device.

Studies have confirmed that the youth today are so addicted
to a mobile that in some cases their fingers shiver if they do not have a phone
in their hand. Do you want to be the victim ? No doubt, technology is
the fasted way to stay connected but you should know where to break of that
point and draw the line for good health. As and when you go ahead to buy a
gadget, always make it a point that you do not compromise on your health in any
way. The ideal thing would be to have just the apps installed on your device
that you need to most and try not to over-flood the device with other apps that
you might care to use once in a blue moon.

App developers are very careful while downloading and
uploading apps as they are very well acquainted with the pros and cons but, you
are the user so you have the choice to decide. For example, a person who just
buys a high end smartphone does not really know what he/she can do with the
device and asks me for advise regarding the apps that he/she could use. The
point is not downloading the app for usage but, the need for the app. If you
need it, you go for it.

I have jotted down few personally recommended apps that
would facilitate you, as an app user on various platforms.

·
WhatsApp Messenger and BlackBerry Messenger
(IM/Communication)

·
Skype (IM/Video Calling)

·
Instagram (Social/Photo)

·

·
LinkedIn (Business)

·
AppLock (Security)

There are billions of apps spread across different platforms
such as BlackBerry, Android, iOS, Symbian, Windows, Tizen among many others
which makes a crazy app world. Having an in-depth knowledge in this arena, I
would say that you are the crazy one and you are responsible for pushing the human
race forward so you got to make that choice of just being an app user or a
ethical app user.
