MARGAO: Colva police arrested a boy hailing from Quepem but presently residing at Pachecowado in Majorda under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act as he was found in possession of 114.39 gms of ganja worth around Rs 22,000 in the open market.
Police had received information that a person will be present at the bus stand in front of Jesus Marie Jose Chapel near Martins Corner restaurant and accordingly raided the place and caught 20-year-old Jason Rodrigues.
Besides the ganja recovered from him police also recovered a 11 cms long chillum that is used to inhale the drugs. PSI Harish V Raut Dessai is investigating the matter.
