PORVORIM:: The
Goa Assembly Session was adjourned for the second time on Tuesday after it
reassembled at 12 noon. But just after 11 minutes, the house for adjourned for
a second time over the issue of Breach of Privilege.
CM quoting rule 309 said
the house cannot proceed unless the issue of utterances against the speaker are
settled. Quepem MLA said settling the issue in the foyer will become a wrong
precedent. While CM had said an apology was not required,
Mormugao MLA Sankalp
Amonkar against who allegation of harassing MPA contractors was levelled on Monday,
requested Altone for an apology. Altone said since he was not guilty he would
not apologise. With the stalemate Speaker adjourned at 12.11pm. The Speaker said the house will reassemble at 12.30pm.
Hence one against the Question House was lost for the second day of the Goa Assembly session, on Tuesday.
