MARGAO: The Rachol Village Panchayat, in collaboration with Goa State Biodiversity Board (GSBB) via the Rachol Biodiversity Management Committee (BMC), organized a tree plantation and sapling distribution program along the banks of the Zuari River at Ilha de Racho. Sarpanch Joseph Vaz emphasized upon the critical importance of tree plantation for environmental conservation.
