MARGAO: The Carmona panchayat, in a letter to the Colva police, has intimated of violation on the ‘Stop Work’ order issued to Raheja.
The Panchayat of Carmona has warned of law and order situation in the village if the same was not stopped immediately.
The panchayat has received a complaint from the Carmona Village Social and Welfare Forum about work still being carried out at the site by Raheja Universal.
The letter from the panchayat stated that Raheja Universal had been advised by VP Carmona to maintain status quo in property.
“However, in spite of the above directions, movement of heavy construction machinery and trucks carrying construction material can be seen entering and leaving the property thereby indicating suspected violation of Panchayat and the TCP’s Stop Work Order,” said the intimation.
