MARGAO, MAY 8
After literally dragging its feet, the Maina Curtorim police on Friday registered a case of theft which took place two days at Colleandongor-Raia.
The complainant told the police that the unknown culprits lifted gold ornaments from her house worth Rs 90,000 during her absence.
The case generated much interest after the police feigned ignorance about the theft even as the owner confirmed of the incident yesterday.
Further investigations are on.
