MARGAO: Congress worker Parag Raikar quit the party on the Opinion Poll Day. He is the son of former MLA Gajanan Raikar.
Parag, who has been closely associated with the Congress, has held various positions in the party.
In his resignation letter, Parag stated “with deep pain he is quitting the party on this auspicious day”.
Immediately, after he quit the Congress, the Margao BJP Mandal sent offers to him to join the saffron party.
