Raikar School, Dutch varsity ink MoU for agriculture research

PANJIM: Ramanata Crisna Pai Raikar School of Agriculture (RCPR), Goa, recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the HAS University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands to jointly conduct research on agriculture.
Addressing the media, RCPR Chairman, Manguirish Pai Raikar said “The MoU has been signed for a period of 5 year and can be extended by mutual understanding. This MoU is intended to take full advantage of the educational resources at both institutions and provides for the development and expansion of the education. This cooperation between two will focus on common areas of interest” 
“Cooperative projects under the Mou may include any of the academic disciplines of HAS and RCPR. Initial areas of cooperation may include but not be limited to firstly student mobility and cooperation concerning internships and professional assignments and secondly exchange of staff and study tours and joint research,” said Raikar.
Raikar further said that HAS University students will be participating within relevant areas of research in RCPR, preferably with the opportunity to bring in more HAS specific topics.
