Central Railway ministry has approved plans to provide
additional 4 metres height to the existing railway bridge near Tanya Hotel,
Vasco. The height of the existing railway over the bridge is very low and emergency
vehicles such as the fire brigade and big ambulances could not move and they are forced to take long cuts during disasters and
emergency situations.
MMC Chairperson Leo Rodrigues said that increasing the
height of the railway overbridge was the need of the hour
