Railway official held for accepting Rs 20K bribe

PANJIM: Central Bureau of Investigation sleuths arrested a railway official on charges of corruption from a Vasco hotel on Wednesday. He was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.

PANJIM: Central Bureau of Investigation sleuths arrested a railway official on charges of corruption from a Vasco hotel on Wednesday. He was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.
The person identified as Madhu Babu Naidu, 36, native of Hubli has been charged with accepting money in a job scam.
Naidu, a technician in the South Western Railway’s mechanical department, has been charged under section 7 of The Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
