VASCO: A railway overbridge road built near the Dabolim Airport was inaugurated on Friday.
The South Western Railways (SWR) had so far spent around Rs 25 crore for the construction of three bridges near the airport in a time-bound manner.
Though the overbridge was inaugurated, the work on the other side of the road is yet to be completed but was thrown open for the convenience of people.
Panchayats Minister Mauvin Godinho said that the construction of three bridges will enhance the infrastructure in Dabolim and make things easy for people travelling near the airport.
He further informed that the Railways will construct another bridge at an estimated cost of Rs 40 crore at New Vaddem.
The bridge work will start in October this year and will be completed by May next year.
