MARGAO: The Konkan Railway Police arrested a thief for stealing a mobile phone of a railway passenger.
The accused Kristus Ravi Rajan Turkey from Kanjiya, Jharkhand robbed a smart phone belonging to Shravan Sada from Ramudgar Sada-Samastipur, Bihar.
The incident happened on October 24, at 01.30 hours in a running train Mangala Express at Margao Railway Station. The accused committed theft of complainant’s mobile make Oppo worth Rs 9,500.
The accused has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
