PANJIM: Except Tillari, all reservoirs in the State have reached their full capacity, thanks to heavy rains witnessed during the last few days.
As per data shared by the Water Resources Department (WRD), the reservoirs other than Tillari, which were full to their capacity as on September 30 were Selaulim, Anjunem, Amthane, Panchawadi, Chapoli and Gaunem.
While Selaulim reservoir in Uguem in Sanguem Taluka, which meets the water requirement of most of South Goa district, was full at 104. 7 per cent, Anjunem, which meets water requirements of Sattari, was full with 100.5 per cent.
Similarly, Amthane reservoir was full at 100 per cent while Panchwadi at 103.1 per cent.
The 760mts Chapoli dam, which caters to the irrigation and drinking water needs of most of Canacona taluka originating from the hills of Chapoli.
