Rainfall inching closer to 100 inches mark

PANJIM, JULY 29 The rainfall in Goa is inching closer to 100 inches mark, with heavy showers lashing the State on Thursday. The wet spell continues to lash the State with Met department recording over five inches of rainfall for the day.

The rainfall in Goa is inching closer to 100 inches mark, with heavy showers lashing the State on Thursday.
The wet spell continues to lash the State with Met department recording over five inches of rainfall for the day.
The heavy to very heavy showers accompanied by gusty winds that began since last night put the normal life out of gear till Thursday evening.
The long queues of vehicles, which include office goers and school children, were seen stranded on the road during morning hours. The knee deep water was seen almost at many places in the city forcing people to wade through trouble situation.
Till date Goa has received 82 inches of rainfall.
