Rainfall likely today

PANJIM: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued rainfall warning to farmers, predicting rainfall on April 19.

In a press bulletin issued Saturday, IMD Goa Observatory has predicted rains and thundershowers in isolated places on April 19 and dry weather over the State on April 20, 21 and 22. 
Last month the State had witnessed sudden rain showers accompanied by thunder and lightening. The unexpected showers worried farmers as it could affect the fruit season, including the mango production.
The day and night temperatures have been normal in the State for the last couple of days. The maximum temperature recorded on Saturday was 33.4 degree Celsius, while on Friday, the night temperature was 25.1 degree Celsius.
