PANJIM: Goa may receive light to moderate showers in some parts of the State from May 12 to 14, while the weather is likely to remain dry on May 15 and 16, even as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday recorded a high temperature of 33.8 degrees Celsius.
Besides the forecast of rain over the weekend, IMD states, “There was no large change in maximum temperatures and they were normal over Goa. The highest maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celcius was recorded at Panjim and Mormugao. No warning has been issued for fishermen on the Maharashtra-Goa coast in the next 24 hours.”
The forecast for Panjim in the next 24 hours is partly cloudy sky with possibility of rains/thunder with maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be around 35 and 26 degrees Celsius.
