PANJIM: Rajat Talak from Margao, has been awarded PhD for the Thesis titled “Information Exchange and Robust Learning Algorithms for Networked Autonomy” at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. His work focuses on a new field called “Networked Autonomy” which deals with problems in which several autonomous agents or robots interactvia a communication network to cooperatively perform intelligent tasks. He was advised by Prof Eytan Modiano and Prof SertacKaraman at MIT. During his PhD, he has written and publishedover 8 noted journal papers and 10 noted International conference papers. He has won best paper award at a premier ACM conference – Mobihoc 2018.
