CANACONA: Canacona MLA and Deputy Speaker Isidore Fernandes launched the much awaited hot-mix asphalting of Rajbagh Beach Road costing Rs 71 lakh on Friday.
Speaking at the launch, Fernandes profusely thanked Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant for according special priorities for the repairs and hot-mix asphalting of village roads in Canacona Constituency despite financial crunch.
“The recently inaugurated Rs 300 crore Manohar Parrikar Sea Side link is beneficial to the National Highway users, but I am more concerned about providing good motorable roads, drinking water and health facilities to my constituents,” he said.
“All the hot-mix asphalting of the internal roads will be taken one after the other together with upgradation of drinking water supply which is in progress,” Fernandes added.
