Rajiv Kala Mandir by mid-December: Lavoo

PONDA: Ponda MLA Lavoo Mamledar has urged residents of Ponda city to support the newly-elected council for better development of the city.

PONDA: Ponda MLA Lavoo Mamledar has urged residents of Ponda city to support the newly-elected council for better development of the city.
“The new council is united and there is high expectation from the public. It is of utmost important that every councillor ensure that works, especially of the people, are completed without delay,” said Mamledar while speaking during the programme, ‘Meet your Councillors’ organised by the People of Ponda (PoP) in association with Antruz Patrakar Sangh, Ponda.
“People also need to support the council to achieve all-round development of Ponda city,” he said.
“By mid-December, the work of Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir is expected to be completed, while the new marker complex project is almost complete,” he added.
Ponda Municipal Council Chairperson Dr Radhika Naik said PMC has lagged behind in development as compared to other municipal councils in the State over the last 10 years. 
“All the 14 councillors are working with the single aim of all-round development of the city and its suburbs,” said the Ponda Chairperson Dr Radhika Naik.
