On Thursday night, Rakul, dressed in a stunning black outfit, was spotted arriving at Jackky Bhagnani’s house with family members and relatives. Videos from the venue showcasing the beautifully decorated house with lights have already gone viral, giving fans a sneak peek into the couple’s upcoming celebration.
In a unique and eco-friendly initiative, the couple has opted for a green wedding. A source close to the couple revealed, “No physical invites have been sent, and no crackers will be burst at any point during the celebrations.” The couple is committed to measuring the carbon footprint generated during the wedding ceremonies, with plans to plant trees in accordance with the environmental impact.
Interestingly, the duo changed their wedding venue to Goa as a response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for influential families to host grand festivities within the country. Initially planning to have the ceremony in the Middle East after months of meticulous planning, Rakul and Jackky reconsidered and relocated the wedding to India following the PM’s urging in December.
Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani made their relationship public in 2021, emphasizing their commitment to transparency. In an interview with Film Companion, Rakul expressed, “We’re both of the opinion that there is nothing to hide or be sly about a relationship. If you are in one, the best thing is to give each other that respect and acknowledge it.”
