Ranade’s ashes to be immersed in Mandovi

PANJIM: The ashes of freedom fighter late Mohan Ranade, who died in Pune, last week, will be brought to Goa for immersion in River Mandovi on July 3.  
Government has announced that the Asthi Kalash of Ranade will arrive in Goa on July 3 and will be received by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
The Asthi Kalash will be kept at Institute Menezes Braganza (IMB) hall from 11 am till 4 pm for public to pay their homage. 
The ashes will be then immersed into River Mandovi. After prolonged illness Ranade died in Pune-based hospital last week.
