MARGAO: Absconding tuition teacher, who was booked for allegedly raping a minor girl from one Salcete village, surrendered before Cuncolim police on Thursday.
The Cuncolim police on Wednesday, had issued a lookout notice against tuition teacher. Police said that the alleged accused is absconding since registering of offence against him. Additional District and Session Judge Margao had rejected an anticipatory bail application moved by him.
Police based on the complaint lodged at Cuncolim Police Station have registered an offence against tuition teacher.
