PONDA: The Ponda Police registered a rape case against a Karwar native on Thursday.
The accused, an engineering student and currently residing at Navelim, has been booked for allegedly raping the teenager, a native of Kerala and currently residing at Zuarinagar. According the police, the accused allegedly raped the victim and threatened to make her photos public.
Both were taking coaching classes for NEET exam at an institute in Margao. Ponda Police have registered case under Section 376 for rape and 506 (2) for threatening the victim.
